NASASABIK. Nakatayo sa gitna ng arawan sa gilid ng kalsada sa tapat ng simbahan kung saan kami ikinasal ng aking asawa. Hinihintay ang pagsundo ni Miguel. Baon ang isang duffle bag na puno ng aking damit. Isang linggong mawawala si Anthony kaya't eto kami at sasamantalahin namin ni Miguel ang pagkakataon.

Iniwan ko muna ang aking anak kay Joyce. Mabuti na lamang at hindi na siya masyadong nagtanong sa aking mga plano bagama't ramdam ko sa kanyang mga tingin ang paghihinala.
